Best age to memorize Quran

Aslaam Alaikum Shaykh Hisham,
What is the best age for my children to learn Quran? As they are still young, they are only 6 years old?

Answer:
wa `alaykum salam,
The best age is 8, 9, 10, 11; these are best ages to learn, up to 14. After becoming 20 it becomes very difficult to memorize. By 23 that ability is finished so the younger they start, the better.
